Welcome to Musical Theatre class! In this course students will explore the world and history of musical theatre. With special emphasis on the history of great performances and performers, you will discover the different genres of musical theatre works.  The class will also focus on strengthening students own skills in the prime performance areas of musical theatre (today known as the “triple threat”, singing, dancing and acting). You will not only gain knowledge of the history of musical theatre, but they will also gain confidence and technique in their own stage abilities in performing. Through the two aspects of research and performance you will connect both the social and historical connection of musical theatre.
